Dear Customer,

Thank you for your continued support.
This is Takagi, the manager of AromaFlat.

Today, we are sharing a guide on how to use the complimentary adjustment tool included with your purchase, along with instructions for resizing your watch strap.

1. How to Adjust a Fold-Over Clasp Strap

1-① First, determine the front and back of the watch.
Hold the watch sideways as shown in the photo.

You will adjust the size by removing the small round pin (hereafter referred to as the "screw") indicated by the arrow. However, if you push the screw in the wrong direction, it will not come out properly.

Look closely from the side: the front of the screw will be smooth, while the back will often show a diagonal marking.
Insert the pin remover tool from the front side, where no diagonal line is present.

If you’re unsure which side is correct, feel free to contact us via direct message for assistance.
※Please note that the text in the photo is in Japanese. The red text indicates the front side of the watch, while the blue text indicates the back side.

1-② Next, place the watch on the tool so that the front side of the screw is facing you.
Turn the handle of the tool to push out the screw.

1-③ Once you remove two pins, the belt parts will come apart.

1-④ Insert the removed pins back into place to complete the size adjustment!

2. How to adjust a sliding clasp band

2-① Adjusting a sliding clasp band is relatively simple. First, as shown in the photo, insert the tool into the center hole.
Then, push the tool in the direction of the arrow on the left and lift the clasp upward using leverage.

2-② Once the clasp is lifted, it will look like the photo below.
You can now slide the clasp left or right. To tighten the band, slide the clasp in the direction of the light blue dashed line.

2-③ Once you've slid the clasp, it will look like this.

2-④ Once you've decided the position of the clasp, insert the tool into the clasp hole again and push it in the direction of the arrow.
Be careful not to press too hard, as you might injure your hand with the tip of the tool.
Now your size adjustment is complete!

This concludes the guide on how to adjust your watch band.
